It informed me of the earliest day I'll be available to take my next pregnancy test.
Since I got my blood drawn today I should be hearing from my dermatologist office soon to set up my next appointment.
I can't wait to start the medication! It's time for a clear face. Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11056801406907372568noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-374011967610315948.post-74484529819041616512016-05-23T17:46:00.000-07:002016-05-23T17:54:57.048-07:00First Dermatology Blood TestI had to fast 10-12 hours before having my blood drawn, thankfully I slept during most of that because there's no way I would have made it otherwise. I don't fast well LOL.

Yay for monthly fasting, waking up early, going to a hospital, and having blood drawn! #sarcasm

The CeraVe is a Hydrating Cleanser. Not sure if this is what she will suggest I use from now on or if this is something to use while my face clears up, one of the many questions I'll have to ask.

The Hylatopic Plus Cream she has me on while I wait on the medication and while I'm on the medication.

The Isotetrinoin pill is a bit complicated. I have to be tested, blood test and pregnancy test, and I have to see my doctor one month before, every month during, and one month after I finish taking the medication because it causes major birth defects. Soooo I have to wait a whole month before I can start taking it. I still have to get my first blood work done so I'm not quite sure what date I'll start taking the medication yet. The medication is for 5-6 months so I have a good 7 to 8 months of doctor visits.

My mom said that my face is already looking better just by using the CeraVe and the Hylatopic Plus Cream. So that's awesome!

I can't wait to see the results of the medication!

It's going to be one big pain of a process, but if it works it will be completely worth it!

I will have to stay away from the sun or use huge amounts of sunscreen. The medication will dry my whole body so lots of liquids, lotion, and chapstick.

For 80% one dose takes care of the issue completely, but some people do need a second dose a couple years later. I REALLY hope I only need one dose.

I'm excited, yet nervous about the whole process. Pray for me. If I slip up on the process in any way I have to start the whole process all over again. I really don't want to start this process all over again!
I know that when some people look at me all they see is the blemishes. Since I've been at my job many people have openly asked and/or commented on my face. I once threatened to wear a bag over my head if another person commented on it. No, I never did this, but I felt like it. After so many comments and so many years of seeing my face this way I decided to ask my doctor about it. He thought it was possibly lupus so I had that checked and that wasn't the problem so he suggested that it might be rosacea, but that I would need to see a dermatologist for that. I needed to make sure I had been at my job long enough that it wouldn't look bad for me. So I'm about to my 6 months and I scheduled an appointment for a couple weeks after my 6 months.
So here I am less than a month away from my appointment and I can't wait for them to tell me what it is and fix it. I'll be very disappointed if they can't fix it.. I wouldn't wish a permanent case of whatever this is on anyone. Pray people, pray!
One way or another I've got to feel better about me!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11056801406907372568noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-374011967610315948.post-50366227559380911882016-04-29T18:29:00.001-07:002016-04-29T18:29:09.153-07:00A Bit Fit..Oh I Mean FitBitSo I now have a FitBit! I'm pretty excited! I got it late in the day, but I hurried up and got my 10,000 steps in around 4 hours. Who knows how many steps I've taken today before that, but I wanted my 10,000.

I can't wait to take it to work and see how many steps I get in while I'm there! I hope it's as many as it feels like, but you never know. If it is great, if it isn't I guess I'll just have to work harder at work. Lol.

All this walking has made me super thirsty and I've been forcing myself to drink more water around 40 oz a day.. I know, I know I'm supposed to drink more than that. I'll get there. I've only been drinking it for 3 days. I don't like to drink water, I'm a SWEET tea or pop (soda) person. BUT I have noticed health benefits already from drinking water so the suffering will be worth it.

Also I'll be tracking what I eat so I can TRY to stay at a certain amount of calories a day. The FitBit app has so far had everything I've ate and that's unusual, most apps don't have a lot of restaurant foods (which is about all I've ate today).

I'm REALLY liking this FitBit!

I can't wait to lose some weight and get my body back to being healthier!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11056801406907372568noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-374011967610315948.post-5096088130737196122016-03-24T16:49:00.000-07:002016-03-24T16:49:15.393-07:00When You're Down And Out Its Time To Count Your Blessings..I've tried to blog several times, but it always ended up negative. I'm trying to stay away from being negative, but lets face it it's hard not to be negative with the way things go in life. News of people dying of diseases, people killing people, terrorist, people going missing, theft, rape, you name it. Not to mention all the things you personally have going on in your own life be it fighting with a spouse/kids/siblings/parents, issues at work, issues with friends/having no friends, housework that needs done, and so on.
Negative times are the times you're supposed to think about the positive things and how blessed you are, but that's also the hardest time to focus on being positive and on blessings.
I was at work during a time I was feeling negative and I was forcing myself to sing "You've got to count your blessings, you'll find one if you try. Count on the Lord and watch that blessing multiply. All those might have, could have, and should have beens are nothing but distressing. When you're down and out, it's time to count your blessings." (Count Your Blessings by The Martins) I sang it over and over and over again and I reminded myself that I'm blessed.
No, not everything in life is great. No, not everything has gone my way. No, I didn't want to go to work. Yes, I'm often around some people I'd rather not even know. But I'm blessed. I have a job which provides me with money so I can have a home, food, clothes, and all my NEEDS and a few wants. I'm healthy. I have an awesome little boy who's healthy. I have some people at work that I really enjoy being around. A few people (not including relatives) that I know care about me and would be there for me if I asked. Family that loves me. And many more blessings.
Reminding myself that I'm blessed wasn't easy and it's something I, as someone who suffers from depression, will have to do a lot. It's going to get annoyingly repetitive and it's something I may fail at reminding myself, but I'm going to try. We sell fountain drinks and everyone loves them.. especially with the "nugget" (crushed) ice. So summer time everyone is coming to us for their drinks. This ought to be fun! I believe I'll finally lose all this extra weight.. maybe 5 lbs a week being that busy every day! LOL
My stomach hurt so bad today from all the leaning/bending out the drive thru window and stocking cigarettes which took me 4 hours to do because of all the people coming in and out/through the drive thru! It shouldn't have taken that long at all.
I can't wait for the warm weather! Watch out, coworkers, I'll be pushing you out of the window so I can feel the nice weather. LOL.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11056801406907372568noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-374011967610315948.post-71602388038240582832016-02-29T16:55:00.001-08:002016-02-29T16:55:42.340-08:00Almost My Birthday! It's a Sunday morning. I'm at church and my Pastor has finished preaching on "The Beginning Of Miracles", we're having altar service and awesome prayer is happening, people are being healed. I'm talking miracles! One man unable to speak after a stroke spoke. Another with health issues started feeling better than he had in at least a year.
Suddenly one of our ladies at the church walks to the pew, takes my moms arm, and my mom helps her sit down. It's all over the lady's face that something not right. She slumps over on the man's shoulder that was next to her. She died right then and there.
My mom is grabbing high faith people in the church and getting them over to her to pray.
We have some RN's who throw her on the floor and started doing chest compression. The church focuses all their prayer on this lady.. Btw her name is Robin. The EMT's get there and are hooking Robin up to the machine, putting a tube down her throat, and everything else they needed to do and they take her out. The church continues to pray for her.
After a little while we get the news that they found a pulse! She's taken to Indy where she codes 6 times on the way! The doctors run their tests and can't explain it.. they see no sign of a heart attack (aside from the one she'd had before) and even after being dead that long she has no side effects (besides being a little sore!)
She's been released from the hospital and is at home eager to get back to church!
You can't tell me that miracles aren't real and you can't tell me that God doesn't exist!
Since then there have been more miracles and we're waiting for God to do more!
So I decided to change my profile picture and tag the employee. I did tell him I'd been trying to think of a way to make a camel face.. I've accomplished that now. LOL. This was the picture I chose. I should have just left that there for a while, but I decided to go back to something normal before I had to answer a billion questions lol. #CleverAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11056801406907372568noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-374011967610315948.post-17984161615377046352016-01-16T10:32:00.001-08:002016-01-16T10:32:46.079-08:00Who looks like a camel? This girl right here... No body get mad, it's a joke.

I'm at work in the office area with my sister and our boss and in comes another employee. He looks to my sister who's checking in our order of cigarettes and says he needs some of (these, these, and these) so she hands him what he asks for, he turns around and sees me and turns back to my sister and tells her he needs some Camel cigarettes too. She hands him the cigarettes and he turns back to leave and I said, "Do I remind you of a Camel?" (or maybe I asked if he thought I looked like a Camel) and he of course says "huh" (or maybe it was "what") So I said you turned around, saw me and then told her you needed Camel cigarettes. I don't think he realized I was teasing, but us girls at least got a good laugh. Lol.
Thinking of changing my profile picture to a Camel just to see what happens LOLAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11056801406907372568noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-374011967610315948.post-1787498663833907012016-01-16T09:32:00.002-08:002016-01-16T09:32:55.700-08:00#TruthI spend all week looking forward to the weekend because that's my days off, just to get to the weekend and be disappointed. #TruthAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11056801406907372568noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-374011967610315948.post-34450771398301960252016-01-13T17:05:00.001-08:002016-01-13T17:05:08.848-08:00Lottery Work has been crazy. Everyone and their pets are buying lotto tickets. Powerball is obviously the most popular, Hoosier is second, and then mega million is third.
I've never had to answer so many questions about Extras or had to print so many tickets.
We'd printed and checked so many we thought we'd broken our machine, of course it wasn't broken.
We had 4 employees working the front and we were all in line at the lottery terminal getting tickets for the customers a lot of $10 - $20 worth.
I haven't bought any, but I'm thinking I might. Guess we'll decide tomorrow.

Have a great night, everybody. Pray for my poor ankles (from all the walking) LOLAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11056801406907372568noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-374011967610315948.post-12114339847217569532016-01-11T16:15:00.001-08:002016-01-11T16:15:40.983-08:00Employee Of The Month So this gal is Employee of the Month.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11056801406907372568noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-374011967610315948.post-16548759330427963322016-01-05T19:40:00.001-08:002016-01-05T19:40:45.291-08:00Rude CustomerAnother rude customer. I'm working the drive thru and a guy comes through wanting some cigarettes so I got them and came back, rang them up, and he handed me the money. I went to count it and it looked 10 cents short so when I tell him what the cost is he starts cursing and asking what I thought he gave me and to count the money blah, blah... He'd given me a few dollars in cash and a couple dollars in quarters and hid a dime under all the quarters. I couldn't feel or see it. So I didn't think it was there. I moved the money around in my hand more than I previously had and of course it was there. Either way that guy was far to rude!
It was a rough day. Non stop people and he has to be a jerk about my questioning the amount he'd given me. If only I had the option to give him his money back and tell him to come back when he's learned how to treat people (an option I've had at every other job I'd worked.)
On the plus side the rest of the day went well. Just a bit busy. I can't really say it was a good year, but the year was better for me than it was for some others.

I worked on New Years Eve and on New Years Day.

New Years Eve was insane at work. People would NOT stop coming in and through the Drive-thru, there was no time to get anything done besides wait on people. I was SOO glad to get out of there LOL.

New Years Day was pretty slow. I figure people were A. still sleeping, B. still drunk, C. out of town, or D. Officially broke from celebrating either way I was happy it wasn't crazy in there.

After work on New Years Eve I got to spend some time with my mom, then I went home and relaxed. My husband's friend who lives out of state was back for the holidays so we've been hanging out with him some. He came to the house to hang out with us and stayed until a little after midnight. After he left I went to bed so I could get some sleep for work the next day.

It's been a pretty boring year so far. Work on the 1st and a lazy Saturday on the 2nd.

Hopefully this year will be better than last year! However I won't be holding my breath. Lol. I can't wait to see what's in store. Hopefully a lot of smiles and far less frowns!

I hope you all have a great year!! Happy 2016!

However when you work for a company in the kitchen and food only has a 7 day shelf life in the fridge it's better to prepare less than you'll need than it is to prepare more. I've had to waste food because to much was prepped. Sure I'm grateful that my coworker filled up some of it no doubt! I just wish she'd done WAY less.

Been a busy day and I had way more cleanup to do because of this.. I'm not even finished with it all yet. Tomorrow I should have it all weighed, bagged, and wrote down as expired.. oh and the dishes clean.

Oh well, hopefully we've all learned our lesson. Lol.

Have a great night!

I can't speak for all stations of course, but the company I work for you work 8 hours, get one 5 minute break (unless you smoke, as if that's fair. I was once even "informed" by a coworker that my break isn't as important because I don't smoke...), there's no break room, no seats to sit down besides the one chair in the manager's office (yes, I stand ALL day), no lunch break, we have a drive thru window so we are going back and forth to get people literally anything that we sell, we aren't allowed to hire someone or give more hours to current employees to have the staffing that we really need for our later shift, we deal with some really rude people (some really great ones too), we work Holidays, our scheduled hours keep us from seeing much of our children, no insurance/benefits, our break room is standing outside by the shed (unless you have a car and feel like sitting in it. I don't have this option.)... even factories have chairs, break rooms, benefits and a lunch break.

I love my job, but I'm sore from head to toe, I'm tired and when the day is done at work I have no energy or care left to do anything but sit and use my heated foot massager. If my heated back massager wasn't missing the cord to plug it in I'd be using that too. All I want to do after work is eat OUT, come home, play video games and/or watch tv. That's it...

Appreciate us!

Now... my head is hurting so I'm going to rest now. Have a great night and a Merry Christmas, everyone! If you're lucky enough to have Christmas day (or Christmas + days off) just know I'm sticking my tongue out at you. I've had 4 (possibly 5..) people make comments about my face in the 2ish months that I've worked there.

1 rude guy
1 nice guy (happened today)
1 Mary Kay worker (happened today)
1 kid (happened today)
and I may be forgetting someone.

I really must make an appointment with the dermatologist. This is getting ridiculous.

Don't mind the worker with the bag over her head...Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11056801406907372568noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-374011967610315948.post-16206420336761548252015-12-14T21:42:00.001-08:002015-12-14T21:42:59.854-08:00I'm Getting There...I think I'm getting the hang of this Gas Station work. I come in, make lunch, clean up the mess I've made from making lunch, help "up front" (cashier, cleaning, filling ice, etc) for a couple hours, I go back to the kitchen to make dinner, clean up that mess, help with the front again for another couple hours, take the food I made for lunch off around it's "shelf life" time, and then leave when it's time. It's a pretty much run non-stop day.

Register isn't hard, but it's different than the one I'd run at a previous job so I keep hitting the wrong buttons (On 2 or 3 parts, always the same ones). I'll get there. Some days I'm ringing things up without thinking about it and others I'm having to stand there with the "Which button was that again..." look and thought LOL

Lottery is still throwing me for a loop if they get ones that I have to print off through the computer. The scratch offs are really simple to deal with.

Cigarettes... I'm getting the hang of where they are and which ones are what, of the popular ones anyways. I try to always show them the box and make sure I've got the right ones that way if it's wrong I can fix it. If they say it's right and it isn't it's their own fault LOL

The drive thru is crazy! People come all at once, traffic is going by, you can't hear what the customer is asking for some times... Most of the customers have been very kind (Thank God!), but I've had some real jerks come through. It's not my fault we're next to a busy road and you won't talk louder or clearer. And heaven forbid I don't know everything in the station front to back. Lol. Oh well, people are people.

One of the girls from work suggested we do Secret Santa so those who wanted to participate signed up and she talked me into it. So now I need to figure out what to get for my person. I asked our boss what this person liked and I got a one word answer.. a pretty good one word answer, but you can find a lot of things to fit this. Our cap is $10 and I have to have it brought in by 2pm on the 21st.. Looks like I need to go to the store... I'll tell you more about that later.

Hope you're all having a great week!
That's really the most shopping I've done for Christmas so far. Guess I need to pick up the pace.

I've talked to a few others who were behind on their shopping too. Anyone else with us?

My plan is to shop all through the year that way I have nothing to worry about when Christmas comes. Last year I did pretty good. This year is an epic fail.

Forgive me family, I'm not a good gift giver, it's not that I don't want to give I'm just not that great at it.

Good luck all you last minute/fell behind shoppers! I hope you find great deals and get gifts for everyone on your list before Christmas Eve LOLAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11056801406907372568noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-374011967610315948.post-87276768759427083172015-12-12T15:09:00.000-08:002015-12-12T15:09:12.850-08:00Let It.... Mow?It doesn't even feel like Christmas time. I know it is from looking at the calendar, but there's no snow on the ground, not that I'm complaining, it's just not normal around here.
I had a friend who posted a picture of them mowing on Facebook and said, "Let It Mow, Let It Mow, Let It Mow" Lol. Yeah, we normally have snow and instead people are mowing. Odd.
I'm good with the warm though. Keep it coming!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11056801406907372568noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-374011967610315948.post-78333294915524306312015-12-11T17:45:00.000-08:002015-12-11T17:45:51.151-08:00"Can You Stay Over?"Hmm.. can I stay over? Sure I CAN. Lol.
So my sister tells me one of the employees called in and she's trying to call someone to see if they can come in for him. After trying to get a hold of someone and having no luck yet she says "I hate to ask, BUT could you stay over until 7 or 8?" I say something like I should be able to and I looked at the clock to see that my husband should be on break so I told her I'd call and make sure. He says it's up to me and to let him know what time. So my sister says lets go ahead and go with 7:45. I text my husband and let him know.
So today I had my first day of staying over. It was fun working with the girls I was with, but OMW I'm SOOO sore. Way more sore than yesterday. My feet feel like.. idk.. a car ran over them.. yeah, I think that'd feel about correct.
I'm off this weekend and I'm hoping that my body will stop hurting so much. Unfortunately my church is having all the parents bring their kids in for Christmas practice tomorrow. I was really hoping to just BE... such is life.

My brain is in shutdown mode..

Have a great weekend, everyone!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11056801406907372568noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-374011967610315948.post-81874918126233377512015-12-10T18:29:00.000-08:002015-12-10T18:29:10.592-08:00Hurry Up Weekend! Tomorrow is the last day of work before I get days off! I'm so excited... and SOOOOOO extremely sore! My body just is not used to this. Tomorrow 6pm cannot come fast enough. Don't get me wrong I love my job, but I need some time for my muscles to stop aching. I may be in a hot bubble bath from 7pm tomorrow to 9am Sunday LOL
Have a great Friday! Pray for me LOLAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11056801406907372568noreply@blogger.com0
