The Right Thing

Have you ever wondered why something is fair for one person, but not for another? I'm sure you have. I know I have. I'm suddenly in a situation where it's fair for one side of the family, but not for the other. I'm being forced to leave out certain people in the family in order to keep another happy. Now I'm sorry, but that's wrong. How can I let all of these other people be in my life, but not let this one tiny part not be, as if that wouldn't be noticeable. I love my family all alike.. my mom, dad, sisters and brothers. And I love my husband, but he's just not being fair and he's not looking at things right... I just don't know how to get him to see that he's not treating this situation correctly.

Good Friday NOT Earth Day

So I'm quite frustrated to hear that everyone is calling today Earth Day, when this day has been used to celebrate Good Friday for a REALLY LONG time.

I'm extremely frustrated that they're taking God out of everything!

And that people are having prejudice over christians and everything that has to do with christians, but I have to hear their cursing, smell their smoke, hear their music, listen to all the gross things they did over the weekend and who they did them with, and all the rest of the stuff that goes with their not being in church.

Well, now that I have that out I do hope everyone is having a fabulous Good Friday. And as a side note I have NO problem celebrating the earth and taking care of the earth, but don't replace a day that was used to celebrate God to celebrate the earth, the earth wouldn't be here without God and neither would we.

I had to work today, my husband did not, but I got to go eat chinese with everyone and Scott was a special visitor. He's spending some more time with us at our house, which is cool. (Miles and him are playing NBA Jam on the XBox so I've done dishes, got on Facebook, and now I'm blogging .)

I might bounce from subject to subject so just bear with me.

I'm unsure if I've told you all about this or not, but we have a pregnant kitty, she's not even a year old, she's all black, and her name is Lil (little) Bit (Although she isn't that little right now) By our calculations, since cats are only pregnant for 65 days, she should be having them either the end of this month or beginning of next, depending on when Scooter got her pregnant. It must have happened right before he got fixed. He is a black and gray tiger print (as my mother-in-law calls him, he's a M head) he's just about 1. So I'm pretty sure they'll have some AH-DORABLE kittens. To bad I won't be able to keep them all.

P.S. I love how people can claim things that aren't theirs. Like, just be like, "oh if it's like _____ it's mine!" Nope sorry, my cat, my cat's kittens and if I want it I keep it, no one has higher dibs than me on these kittens. Plus I'll be shocked if they have these certain types.

Ok well, I think I'm done complaining now. I need to work on my crocheting so I can start something new soon.

Have a fabulous day! God bless!

Let Me Tell You About Yesterday...

As I've said oh, 3 or 4 times in the past few days, yesterday was my dad and Mari's first time coming over to see our house. I was super excited. And everything went great. They love our house! I love when people love our house, of course that's because I love our house and so does Miles and we want people to be excited about it with us.

Miles cooked hamburgers on the George Foreman grill and we had mac n' cheese, baked potatoes, and my dad and Mari brought over a veggie dish. Everything tasted great. And once we were done eating we talked for a while then we went into the living room and watched Bruce Almighty. They'd never seen Bruce Almighty before, but they'd seen Evan Almighty which came after it. Lol. Oh well.

They came here about 4:00 p.m.-ish and left at around 8:00-8:30 p.m.-ish. Lol. I'm just so great at keeping track of time, right? Anyways, the point is they stayed for quite a while. I was excited about that. It'll be a sad thing when they move, but living there is something they've dreamed of doing and now they're getting to and I'm happy for them. After all how many people can say they've dreamed of living somewhere and then when they get older, not old, but older actually can say that they've accomplished their dream? So I am happy for them. And hopefully Miles and I will be able to go see them from time to time. I know it won't be often, especially not with such high has prices, but I'm not going to go forever without seeing them.

Maybe we'll travel by train, I've never traveled a far distance by train. That sounds fun. I would also like to travel by train to New York, Chicago, ... and some other places, but those are the main two.

Anyways, this was just to let you know that yesterday went great. :)
