Light It Up!

I've been married for 6 years and FINALLY my husband, after much hinting and telling him he was ruining my Christmas, allowed me to decorate before Thanksgiving!

Also, for the first time ever I got to light up our porch! I'm so excited!

As a teen I dreamed of all the things Christmas would mean when I was older. Part of it was decorating the outside of the house (as well as the inside, of course) We never decorated outside when I lived with my parents, which is a shame because we had a great house for it, I feel like decorating outside is just apart of Christmas (it should not be left out!). It's a way of sharing the Holiday cheer with your neighbors, a Christmas tree from the window just isn't enough.

We have 2 Christmas trees and I'm thinking about lightly decorating the old, small one and putting it on our porch. I've seen pictures where others have done that and I just loved it.

I do ALL the decorating alone so it can be a bit hard on me, but I'm sure gonna try! Hopefully one of these Christmases I'll getting it looking the way I really want it... Until then just deal with what I've got, it's the best I can do. Lol.

Coffey Grounds

Adorable bridge!

This weekend I went to the wedding of one of my friends located at the Coffey Grounds. The Coffey Grounds is beautiful! It's the perfect place for an outside wedding, camping, bonfires, swimming, parties, etc. My pictures unfortunately cannot do this place justice.

This was my first time ever going here since I'm not from the area. I wish I would have known about it sooner!
Lots of land!

This is probably my favorite decor part because of the personal detail

Simple, but beautiful

Love the use of candles and tree stumps

The tent was huge
I have more beautiful pictures, but the rest of them have people in them and I won't post other people without their permission.

The bridesmaid dresses were beautiful. The bride's dress was gorgeous and the bride was as well.
The bride and groom are so adorable together.
It was an outside wedding on a cold day. This was genius!

I got some really great photos of the wedding. I'm a little surprised at just how well they turned out.

I think I'll start carrying the camera around more often. The only way to get better at taking pictures is to just dive in and take them.

I hope you've enjoyed the pictures and if you have a chance you should throw your next event there.
I don't know the owner's information, but I know that you can Google: Coffey Grounds Noblesville, IN. and that can lead you where you need to go.

Using My Stuck Time

With all this time being stuck inside, I finally decided to do some online searching for home upgrades. I found a few things. Like a sofa, a ceiling fan, and I can't decide between 3 chandeliers I like.

The sofa:

I wouldn't have the striped pillows of course, which is fine because I don't really like them, but it does come with the white throw pillows :) I would also throw on some teal patterned pillows to go along with my color theme :)

The ceiling fan:

I was looking for a white one, but I LOVE the look of this one. Plus I could always paint the blades white.

Now for my chandeliers :

It's pretty, but not to much

It's gorgeous in all it's blinginess, but I'm not sure it will go with what I'm going for.

And last, but most definitely not least....

It has my bling and my white, it's gorgeous and will definitely say this is a dining room. Pretty sure this would be the one I'd choose.

More Home Decor Wants!!

This  is a great Owl Bank in the beautiful bluish/teal colors that I'm doing in the house. I love it!

The Owl Bookends would be so great to get my owl theme in on my bookshelf.

There's a few Owl Mirrors that I'm interested in that could be put throughout the house.

Beautiful Butterfly! Petrarch color to go with my color theme! In love!

I love the black candle holder. It adds a bit of bling!

This picture, to me, says warm and welcoming while adding a bit of color to the wall :)

I wouldn't say that I LOVE this piece, but I do think it's cute and it has my colors :)

Teal Based Small Globe. I used to hate globes, but I think it would add a bit of a manly look to my girliness. Obviously to me globes are more of a manly thing.

Amazingly I found all these items at one store!
I'm hoping to get some money so I can go in and start buying things to decorate the house more. Oh the money I need to get this place exactly where I want. But thank God I'm closer to getting this place where I want it than I was at our old house!
