Traditional Baby Shower..

As we all know the traditional baby shower goes games, cake, opening gifts, and fellowship. And there's nothing wrong with that if that's what you like, but I don't like traditional baby showers.

More than likely I'll have the traditional baby shower, but honestly if it could go how I want it to go it would be games, cake, fellowship, and thanking everyone for coming and for their gifts. I know some people think it's rude to not open the gifts there, but for one I'm shy and I'd be more comfortable not opening them in front of everyone, two I could open them with my husband, and three I wouldn't be taking up 2 or 3 hours of everyone's day. It's not that I don't appreciate the gifts, the money spent, and the time they took out for me and my baby, I really do. I just wish people would get off the traditional and see that some people would be more comfortable doing things differently.

I hate opening gifts in front of people. I'm a slow gift opener. And now I'll be huge, which will slow me down even more... Oy!
