Since basically everyone knows now and we've kind of gotten over it I'll tell you about my husband and that new job that he'd gotten.
We were so excited Miles had gotten a new job, it was in town, in a few short months he'd be making more money, plus saving money on gas due to less travel, and the best bonus of all he loved the work, it was easy! (You know my last post on to good to be true? Yeah,...)
So my husband had been working there for 4 blissful days and on the 5th day he went into work, in their afternoon meeting (which was the beginning of his shift) he learned that all the temps were being let go.... He was a temp.
It was devastating. To him, to me, to everyone, The workers there loved him and how hard of a worker he was. One of the women even broke down and cried while telling him how sorry she was that this happened.
Miles a bit dazed calls my mom in a panic. I was next to her and thought he'd gotten in a car accident or something, I never imagined it would be him saying he didn't have a job.
After my mom got off the phone she told me what had happened and being in a state of shock I took it quite well. I did cry when I was telling my mom about the note that I'd given to Miles the night before that I now knew was so fitting and had a purpose. In my note I'd said that no matter if we lost weight together or gained weight together or if we were rich or just getting by that I knew together we could make it through it all. Now the fat or skinny thing was just for laughs, but I was still being just as serious about that as I was with the money.
A few short minutes after she told me and we weren't even done talking about it completely my husband walks in. He breaks down crying and says that he failed me and Seth. That wasn't the case at all. This company failed us. My husband wasn't a bad worker that got fired, this company just lied and let people believe they had intentions of hiring people, but they really didn't.
My mom with all her wisdom told him to call his old job that he'd just quit and try to get back on there. So he called. She also told him to leave right then and go to Manpower and Spartan and put his name in their systems for a job and to also fill out an application at this place that we knew was hiring. So he did.
Well, to make this story much shorter than it really is my husband is back at his old job, but working as a temp... he was full-time, with insurance, and a Lead Op and now he's a temp. He makes less money, no insurance, and he has less seniority than the people he trained.
I know there's nothing I can do. I'm very mad at the way that company lied and I've found out that they do this often. If given the chance Miles would gladly go back to work there because he really did love the job. Maybe one day he'll be given that chance. But then again maybe God has a better place in mind. Either way we would love for you to keep us in your prayers. Pray that Miles will find a job that's in town, that pays well, that he'll like, that has good insurance, and that isn't going to lay him off or fire him. Also pray for us as a family financially.
We took one great step forward and got shoved two steps backward....
Welcome to my blog. As the title says you'll find a little bit of everything here. You'll hear about my day, God, crafts/DIY, my fashion, and about being a mommy. Enjoy!

How It's Going..
I'm having a harder and harder time getting up and doing things.
My upper back pain is horrible, my stomach feels heavy, Seth seems to be getting hiccups a lot.. or at least I think it's hiccups I'm experiencing. They aren't painful they're just annoying... like quick kicks.. not necessarily rhythmic.. well, sometimes they are, but not always.
It's hard to sit up (like sitting in a chair/sectional or trying to sit up from a laying position) because Seth has decided to be "glued" to my ribs.
My eyes have occasionally been getting super dry and they burn like someone put hot sauce in them, which the Dr said to use some eye drops.. kinda knew that one myself so that wasn't much help. Lol.
There are of course some other changes, but that would be T.M.I. and WAY to inappropriate for me to post about. Lol. All the women who have been pregnant I'm sure know what kinds of things I'm talking about.
It's been so hot and I don't take heat well anyways, add baby weight and I'm just miserable and covered in sweat!
All of these things have made doing my jobs harder. I cannot wait to get a break from my jobs for a while and go back to them when I feel more myself.
Then on top of pregnancy issues my hubby's car has been giving us some issues. Works fine sometimes and other times we have to play mechanics to get it to start. The A.C. doesn't work nor can you get cold air from the fan so driving his car to and from work is miserable. I'm surprised I don't look like I've peed myself once I get to work from all the sweat.
Speaking of peeing I've basically had the constant feeling of needing to pee for about a week. Lol. Probably T.M.I. sorry.
I've become fascinated with Pretty Little Liars. I really want to know who A is, who killed Alison, etc. This is bugging me! I have to watch the episodes as fast as I can, which is stupid since I know I probably won't be finding out anytime soon. After all once we know who A is all that's left is to take A down and then there'd be no more Pretty Little Liars.
Ok, well I need to get ready to go to work. Hope you're all having a great day.

Father's Day!
I hope all the Fathers had a wonderful Father's Day yesterday!
We are having a tough time right now financially so we couldn't do anything for Father's Day for any of the dads. Matter a fact we didn't even see any of them yesterday. We made sure to text the dads that have texting, but other than that no contact. Which I guess made it better than one of us seeing our family and the other one not.
Personally I wish we could just not celebrate Mother's and Father's Day. There are enough holidays and holidays stress me out. Have to buy gifts, see both sides of the family, spend time with both sides of the family, etc. It'd be so much easier to treat it like any other day. I'm such a downer, eh? Lol.

Career :/
I mentioned in a previous post about money being tight around our home and yes, it's still tight. Anyways, the money issues have really made me wish that I would have spent some time building a career. You know at least having college done before having a baby.
I know, I know it's never to late to go to college especially now that they have online classes. Which I've thought about many times, but it never seemed like the right time and I didn't want to spend the money on college especially when I have NO clue what I'd want to go for.
I mean I know of a few things that interest me, but I want to be realistic. I don't want to get a degree in something where I'd be waiting forever for a job or that is totally against my personality. Or worse something that I'd start college for and then realize that I can't memorize everything that I need to know. So some interests: Psychology (but that deals with people and I'm not very good at talking to people), Pets (I love pets, but I could never be a Vet. to much to remember and I couldn't give shots or "put down" an animal), Writing (I really love to write and quite often I get the need to write, but don't always know what to write about. I'm not sure I would have the creativity I need to really write books or anything like that), etc. So there's a few.
My safest bet would probably be writing, EXCEPT for the fact that I'm not really that great at English like the subject where they teach punctuation and such. But it's perfect because I can write from home, which means being able to stay home with my baby and do housework and such.
Psychology is great because I really do love to help people, I've been helping people (or at least trying to) since I was 12. I have a real passion for teens (13-20's) and I know that Psychology would be a great help for what my real passion is.
Well, and Vet. is already out due to the above mentioned reasons. I could however go for maybe an assistant.
So maybe I could go for writing and once I've paid off schooling and earned some money go for Psychology, which could help with (a) my writing and (b) my passion. Sounds like a great plan, eh? Now if only I can get myself to go through with it!
Or maybe I should look for something a little more realistic? I don't know I REALLY want to be able to stay at home. So whatever I choose will have to be something that I can do from home so I can be with my baby and keep up with the housework.
Any ideas? I'd love to hear them. Just leave me a comment on here.

Standing on His Promise
I'm finding my husband and myself in a hard spot in life where I must daily remind myself of Philippians 4:19 which says,"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (KJV)
I, like everyone, else hate being in a position where I'm not in control, like I'm currently in. And that makes me remember Matthew 6:25-34 which in short it basically says not to worry about tomorrow. It talks about different animals and how God takes care of them and aren't we more important than the animals. So we aren't to worry about food, drink, clothing, etc. In verse 34, after going through all the previously said things, it says,"Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." (KJV)
Both of these scriptures help to remind me that no matter how bad it may look that God is in control and He will take care of my situation. I'm not saying that I don't worry because I do, it's human nature and no matter how hard I try not to something always pops up that makes me worry. My worry isn't saying that God won't/can't provide, but more saying that, in my opinion, it's getting to be a close call. And then I just remember that God has never let me down and in most cases when it seemed like everything was falling apart and that there was no way to fix it, that's when He would come in and fix everything. So here I am standing on His promise, knowing that He'll take care of my and my family, but we just have to be patient. Patient definition: bearing pains or trials calmly or without complaint. That's so not easy to do...
